Terms of Service

1. Services Overview

Sai Launa Makeup & Photography, operated by Scott Madison Studio LLC, provides professional makeup artistry, portrait photography, and related services. All services are subject to availability and these terms.

2. Booking and Deposits

Reservation

All sessions require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the session fee to secure your date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.

Payment

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as specified at the time of booking.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Client Cancellations

• More than 7 days notice: Deposit may be applied to a future session within 6 months
• Less than 7 days notice: Deposit is forfeited
• No-show: Full session fee is due

Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours notice at no additional charge. Additional rescheduling may incur a $50 administrative fee.

Photographer Cancellations

In the rare event that we must cancel your session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of any deposits paid, or we will reschedule at your convenience at no additional cost.

4. Session Policies

Arrival

Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without reduction in price. If you are more than 30 minutes late without notice, the session may be considered a no-show.

Session Conduct

We reserve the right to end any session if the client or their guests behave inappropriately, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or create an unsafe environment. No refund will be provided in such cases.

Minors

Clients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the session and must have their consent for services and image usage.

5. Image Delivery and Usage

Delivery Timeline

Edited images are typically delivered within 2-4 weeks of your session via our private online gallery. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Gallery Access

Your private gallery will remain active for 90 days from delivery. You are responsible for downloading your images within this period. Extended hosting may be available upon request.

Image Editing

All images are professionally edited according to our artistic style. We do not provide unedited or RAW files. Additional editing requests beyond standard retouching may incur additional fees.

6. Copyright and Usage Rights

Photographer Copyright

All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of Sai Launa Makeup & Photography / Scott Madison Studio LLC. We retain the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, social media, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Client Usage

Clients receive a personal use license for their images, which includes printing for personal display, sharing on personal social media, and gifting prints to friends and family. Commercial use requires a separate licensing agreement.

Credit

When sharing images online, we appreciate (but do not require) credit to @sai.launa.

7. Model Release

By booking a session, you grant permission for your images to be used in our portfolio and marketing materials. If you prefer your images remain private, please notify us in writing before your session, and we will honor your request.

8. Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure client safety and satisfaction, we are not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or damages that may occur during or as a result of services. Clients with known allergies should inform us before makeup services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemic, civil unrest, or government actions.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Georgia law, in Fulton County, Georgia.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
